Worship artwork

Production information:

Sofware: Photoshop CS5
Year: 2012

I originally did this photo-manipulation as a digital sketch to use as reference for an ink illustration for the Greek Black Metal band Impenetrable Darkness. They eventually ripped me off. Fortunately the digital sketch I made is of high resolution and can be used as an album cover the way it is.

This artwork is for sale. The 'Worship' typography is added both as an example of how a logo or album title could look and to serve as a watermark against theft.

How much for this art?

I like the mood of this one very much, but maybe the red one has a deeper impact. The illustrations looks very nice as well as the typo.

Yeah I feel the same. For the final cover artwork I will probably do a bit of a combo and with improved lighting. The typography was done in a few minutes just to illustrate what a title would look like on the cover but I quite like the result. I may employ the same font and modification technique in the final cover.

Nice choice. I'll look forward for the final version, then!

I really like the line shading around the candles on the left.

That's part of the engraving I used. This is a photo-manipulation of various engravings.

Thanks for the comment.
