That's amazing. I can't believe you got a shot like that. For a minute I couldn't tell what exactly I was looking at. I thought it was a locust.

how on earth do you find bugs in such positions at such times? do you get up early each morning and go hunting for them? i can't imagine even being able to notice them in such a position in that kind of circumstance, especially given how foggy it must have been!

wow, that's dedication... so few people even get to see the world in such a state, but you're really allowing everyone who watches your work to see things they take for granted! what a great project!

also, would you say you find at least one insect on each outing? or do you seldom come across anything interesting?

U know, the whole perspective of water changes when you are that size, and you have a whole glob of it the size of a basketball stuck on your face.

It's a wonderful photo, is it really a butterfly, or a moth???

I'm just curious because of the front antennas.
I love the dew effect too; it's absolutely amazing with the perfect blend of colors and atmosphere.

I wonder what the world looks like to them all covered with dew drops on their eyes?

maybe it looks the same, since their eyes are multifaced anyway.

your work is absolutely stunning, all of it.

I do macro photography, and I'm not bad at it, but I don't have as cool a camera and lens as you do.

Still, I'm happy with what I produce
