Sergej Orloff is the enigmatic enemy/ally of Martin Mystére. They really have a history!
Orloff's been carrying on a feud against Morgana, which is actually Morgan Le Fey from the King Arthur lore.
Monique is Orloff's fiancee and assistant.
Blackjack is the surgeon who fixed Orloff's face, after a terrible accident left him disfigured.
For years, Orloff used to go around wearing a huge leather mask, to hide his deformed facial features. Thanks to Blackjack, he is now back to normal and doesn't need that mask any longer.
On Blackjack's underwear, you can see the Italian character Calimero, which for a period was popular in Japan as well.
