NOTES
As you might have noticed, Martin carefully avoided to describe the core of the Burckle Crater theory.
That's because it's the duty of these notes: we are going to find out what is true and what is made-up in the adventures of our friend Martin.
The Burckle Crater, at the bottom of the Indian Ocean, is supposedly the result of a comet colliding with Earth, causing the events that local civilization of that age would have turned into "the flood" of their religious stories.
Those stories usually mention the 2.807 BC eclipse, which allows to roughly date the age of the comet impact.
The same event could be the cause of the Chevrons.
The Ark of our comic will end up stranded on a mountain that could be the Bible's Ararat.
Or not.
What matters is that this can fit with the related Ark legends.
Also, check out the sky: a second fragment of the comet core is about to crash elsewhere: if it falls in the Pacific Ocean, then it will give birth to the Flood myth of the American cultures, thus invalidating Martin's objection in page 1.
