The assembling of the Kolossoi was meant as a reference to Kotetsu Jeeg.
The facility in Li Punti which houses the Restoration Centre also hosts the headquarters of a Carabinieri division known as Comando Carabinieri Tutela Patrimonio Culturale del Nucleo di Sassari.
The Carabiniere entering in panel 4 is one of them, and he happens to be the mate of the unlucky lady restorer.
