GET A LIFE!
EPISODE 30: THAT WHICH IS NOT DEAD (3)
PREV < PAGE 2 > NEXT
Art by Filip Cerovecki
Story & lettering by Franco Villa
Edits by Cristian Di Biase & Luca Salvadei
English edits by Zac De Board
NOTES
Original art.
In the early Martin Mystère stories (issues #1-100), Diana Lombard DID have a rarely-mentioned sister, even though this woman never appeared in the series: we know that for a fact because one of Diana's nephews was shown (Monique).
Later, Alfredo Castelli decided that Diana had no brothers or sisters, and thus her nephew was retconned into a very young cousin.
More commentary from Filip:
Panel 2: Diana gains upper hand and defeats the opponent ("Strength" card).
In the background, the "Wheel Of Fortune" card turns in her favor.
Panel 3: the "Wheel of Fortune" turns again, back in the villain's favor.
Panel 5: Mabus arrives traveling the head of "the Devil" (13th Card of Tarots' major Arcana), which suits him fine.
The Great Old One plucks a sacrificial dagger (sword) from the ground.
