Space-Jet Maintenance - Perry Rhodan

Safely secured on the hangar deck, the space-jet awaits service by the maintenance crews. Despite its small size, it is an infinitely intricate machine, every component miniaturized in the most compact shape to fit it all in the confines of the eighteen-meter hull. Engines, dampeners, life support, and fire-control, densely intertwined and laced with redundant positronic chips – all put under the stress of nearly perpetual operations. Within a few hour's time, the machine will be out there again, diving into the irradiated void of the nebula to seek out new anomalies and interlopers.
