Sorry, I didn't mean to mark the EDIT button so that people got notified once again.. but it seems I did O__O

I didn't mean to flood my watchers deviantwatch messages with this deviation again. I made some minor edits to the image and uploaded it again.. but I didn't want to notify my watchers.. I guess I made a mistake U_U

Done in 2009

This is my first attempt on doing a Matte Painting. It took a loooooot of time but I'd say it was worthwhile cause I quite like the result. As it was my first try it's really influenced by Dylan Cole, Dusso and Raphael Lacoste. :) Yep, it ended up like kind of a merge between Naboo and Rivendell!

More than 300 layers and about 30 images used

Photomanipulation and digital drawing

Photoshop cs3 + Wacom

Image size
3850x1611px 1.83 MB
Adobe Photoshop CS4 Macintosh

You like Albert Bierstadt? You should... ;-) I consider him a genius.
Check his light work and monumental and sublime landscapes:

Again something that brings out the imagination. What could be going on in there and who could have built it.
