Clear Crystal Icons and Installer

I released this Clear Crystal set of system icons for Mac OS X in July 2011, providing the icons both as a set of ICNS files, and as an “iContainer” for users of the application CandyBar.

To the previous set of files, this release adds a small application for installing and uninstalling the Clear Crystal icons for users who don’t have CandyBar. The application also manages a substantial set of system icons that CandyBar doesn’t.

The new application manages the default set of icons for Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”), as well as a supplemental set for Mac OS X 10.7 (“Lion”). You can preview the icons that will be installed/uninstalled by browsing the folder “Clear Crystal ICNS” on the disk image.

Credits to designers who inspired the icons are listed in my blog article, "Introducing “Clear Crystal” System Icons for Mac OS X".
