The slime had absolutely been a god send, a miracle, whatever you wanted to call it. all the wounds and bruises had disappeared as if they had never been there. Moreover, Zora now felt like he was brimming with energy, a way he hadn't felt in a good while. Though the forced nap was probably also a little nice, as sleep deprivation had been taking a toll on him. I mean, he thought he had seen Bob on the battlefield, but there was no way. Right? Whatever the case,he felt a lot better now than before. But Orion wouldn't let him go as easily as before. He insisted that he would come with him, especially since it seemed like the big creature was on its last legss for real this time. It didn't seem like it was regenerating any limbs it was losing at this point, meaning that any damage dealt now would for sure add to bringing the colossal being down. “What happened? Where am I? Everything is dark. It's as if there's nothing here. Where is here? Wait, is someone calling my name?” A voice seemed to call out. At first, it seemed come from very far away. As it kept repeating my name, the voice became louder. Slowly the darkness that I was in seemed to fade a bit. Before I knew it, my eyes slowly opened. The light, as far as there was light, hurt my eyes. Actually, there was something shining into my face, something very bright. “Zora, ZORA!!!” the voice called out. I groaned as the pain of my body reminded me of the current situation. The big beast, which I had heard some call Fakrattar or whatever, had shed its carapace. With that opening, everyone had started attacking it relentlessly as finally a ray of hope had started shining. I remembered the weapon i had with me, though it was more like a fancy wooden stick with a couple of sharp rocks tied to it with some old but somewhat sturdy pieces of rope. “Oh my goodness, Zora! The feared second phase of the monster

Zora and the many other nebnoms hacked away at the large beasts. Many parts of the thick, black carapace had cracked. Large parts of it had fallen off as they couldn't stay on any longer, exposing whatever was beneath. This might've seemed like a good thing, like thebig behemoth was weakening. Like they could actually win this fight pretty quickly as there had been quite a few nebnoms that had dealt massive damage to it. But as Zora and a few others hacked away at the big purple claws, a realisation dawned on them as they cracked and fell apart. It wasn't so much as that it was weakening but moreso as if it was shedding its old skin. The behemoth of an amalgamation of creatures Zora could think of and recognise, such as the raven part, was now a lot longer than before. Where its head should be was still the same with its two long, twitching antennae sticking out the weird swirlingpurple clouds. A big beam, or rather pillar, of light was in the middle of the weird swirling mass.

The battle had been going on for quite some time now. There were a ton of others fighting the big creature alongside Zora. Orion had been helping in his own way as well by preparing extra weapons from the debris or providing some food and water to Zora. After all, neither of them knew for how much longer they'd be stuck in this place. The land seemed barren and dry with an eternal darkness over it. It almost seemed like day never came as they hadn't seen any sign of a sun yet. It was also possible that the place no longer had a sun, though that'd make no sense seeing how the place wasn't extremely cold. The climate wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. Zora had been to worse places in his search for the planet he originally came from to finally be able to reunite with his parents. After all, the curse seemed to be either dormant or even completely gone now as there had been no progression in years now. Another loud bang could be heard as another piece of extremely thick

Fighting the raven[ous] beast

Ever since the raven had turned into a gigantic worm-hole looking beast with way too many legs, things had gotten hectic. Zora and Orion weren't the only nebnoms there as many more appeared out of the ruins. The place they had first encountered the raven in now was in absolute shambles. Where the roof had once been was now the shining night sky. The stars shone brightly in the darkness as the enormous being started attacking. As fast as Zora could manage, he made a little makeshift sword out of some gum, liquorice ropes, some kind of candy swirl, some wooden plans, a piece of marble as the sword hilt and a piece of shale. To make sure the makeshift weapon could do any damage, Zora quickly created ridges in the shale with the some the random metal cutlery that was laying around. Orion had helped out by making a shield out of some other parts of wood,marble, cloth and some of the raven feathers, to make sure that Zora wouldn't get hurt in the battle that had now officially commenced.

The whole situation only started getting weirder as time went on. The two of them had hunted the candy creatures so much that there were no more left,niether was their any candy hidden in crevices anymore. This posed them with a big problem as the black bird in the room they had arrived had would tell its patron that they hadn't met the quota of the amount of candy they had to gather. Though on the other hand, it was weird that no matter how much candy they gathered, the raven just wanted more and more candy. They weren't entirely sure what to do now as they were running out of options. The least they could do though was deliver the last candy that they were able to gather. The weird glittering, featured creatured perked up in excitement as they saw the two of them approach. However, the joy didn't last long as it saw how there was barely any more candy on the scale than before. Seeing this, it started screeching at them in protest and how their patron would punish them for not

The uncompletable task

The two had searche dhigh and low for more candy and had find quite the amount in the time spent loking for the candy. Every now and then they had to take a break as exhaustion and lack of sleep was starting to creep up to them. How much time had even passed by? There was no way of telling in this odd place of worship that seemed to have no windows. Perhaps the entire structure wasn't even above ground but instead underground. Or even wilder, underwater. There were all sorts of planets out there with their own weird quirks. The place was most likely not above the clouds though, as it wouldn't make sense to have no windows in that case. Who wouldn't want to see the pretty sky of their own planet? After checking the stash that the had gathered now after their first depost of candy, the two were pretty satisfied with the amount. It was then agreed upon to return to the altar to deposit what they had gathered this round in the hopes they had met the requirement of one kilogram. Last time

Zora and Orion had searched high and low for candy. There were piece hidden all over the place, in all sorts of nooks and crannies. It took them a while to get a total of one kilogram in this odd place though, it wasn't the fun fair after all. If they couldjust leave, they definitly would have. Whatever the raven bird creature was going on about, it couldn't be anything good. And then there was the patron it spoke of. The weird patron that seemed to have a pretty big sweet tooth for some reason and would rain its wrath down on them if they didn't meet the requirements. Then again, all in all everyhting had been pretty odd up 'till now. The weird invitation that erased itself, the free tickets, the big castle or manor looking thing in the middle of the fair, the fact it opened late, the large and very annoying and scary to boot maze and then there was the portal that led the two of them to the weirdos that wanted them to gather in a place that was devoid of most things. The feeling of intense sorrow flooded in as she drew her last breath. Those eyes that ones contained life and wonder were now lifeless. Though the sorrow was overwhelming, the tears did not come. More emotions mixed into the sorrow as the fact of her passing finally dawned upon me. A feeling of powerlessness, a feeling of confusion but the strongest emotion yet was that of rage.
