I would love to watch you create one of your pieces- I'm so fascinated by the technique and the skills you employ. This is wonderful- full of dynamic energy and narrative.

Thanks Mark - kind of you mate.

Actually, you would probably find it quite tedious because I tend to work in small spurts simply because of a lack of time to do my art.

Its frustrating because just when I'm getting into my stride, I have to stop for a day or a week... :D

I'm the same- I only get to draw and paint for a couple of hours in the evenings and weekends- I'd draw all night if I didn't have to get up early for the day job! I do find it fascinating watching others work tho. It's a great way to learn.

A little late here, but - instant fave! You're killing me, Mark, this one's a beauty through and through. Great likenesses and an awesome layout. My warmest congratulations! I have my fingers crossed that LFL will use this in some way. Temple of Doom...has it already been 30 years? Feels like yesterday that I saw it for the first time. Still a great movie and a very close 2nd place after Raiders. ;)

Cheers bud - warmly appreciated to be sure!

Yeah, Lucasfilm can be a little slow but here's hoping they don't just sit on it. I'll be sending a few full one-sheets over to them in about a week which will jog a few folk :D

30 Years.. pretty scary that's for sure, especially for old dudes like us!

'Fortune and glory, kid, fortune and glory.' Temple of Doom is one of my favorites and I don't care what the nay-sayers say ;) Just brilliant, Mark.

Cheers buddy and nice of you to take the time to comment.

I have to be honest, its the weakest of the original trilogy for me and made mainly so because of the ridiculous handling of Willie's character.

Thanks again brother.

Ridiculous? Strong words Mr Raat's you'd better have some more to back it up, dissing Temple of Doom tsk... Crusade is the weakest for the dodgy effects and that Airfix model plane with the loos propeller ;)

It's lovely to see this coloured and you've done a grand job.  I didn't like the character, but your rendition of Short Round is brilliant!  I can't really draw kids all that well, so kudos to you!  I can't believe this is thirty years old.

Thanks very much Clare - I'm delighted you feel it works.

Interestingly, I found Shorty fairly challenging to get right and I was rather stunned when I looked at Drew's magnificent original poster to see that his Shorty was not very good indeed...

At least I don't feel quite so alone now!

Thanks Kristine - glad you like it.

I love the fact that you feel it works almost as a 'look back' at the movie itself because that's exactly what I want to achieve with this series.

All the best...

Instant fav. Love it. I can't believe the evil twin of Raiders is thirty.I must be getting old, or films are getting younger. Still a good watch, better than any of the copycat movies of the last few years.
