Before there was the Internet I thought I would speak some foreign language no one can understand and I was just different. When I discovered the Internet I found out I'm not the only person who likes video game music, hell that even my favourite song Ducktales The Moon is the favourite song of a lot of other people. I realized I am not the only person who constantly quotes The Simpsons in real life amongst many other things.

So nowadays if I bring up a flux capacitor in a conversation in real life and people have no clue what I am talking about it is just weird to me and I am like "oh dear real life strikes again..." but I know that there are people out there just like me who probably have the same problems with people having no clue what they are talking about and labeling them as "weird".

In other news today is a very sad day because my favourite website grooveshark isn't available in Germany anymore because of fucking GEMA. It was only a matter of time. Note: Music videos don't work on German youtube either. So no music for krauts.

Today I've played Duck Tales 2 for Game Boy and realized 2 things

1) Back in the day games based on a big franchise meant quality where nowadays it means "stay the f away from that crap"

2) I can finally understand what they are saying. Back in the day games didn't get translated and as kids we had no clue what those people were saying. After all we didn't care much though. Text wasn't required for Duck Tales but reading "OK" in Darkwing Duck confused the hell out of me as a kid and I wasn't sure if that was a YES or a NO.
