Here is the finished sculpture I just got back fresh from the foundry. I'm very excited about this piece. 'Art Works foundry' in Berkeley CA. did a fantastic job molding, casting and patina-ing my sculpture. I want to thank, Mold maker Gabe, Wax caster Felisa, metal worker Steen, and Patina artist Aiya and the others that worked with me on this piece.

Wow, less than 24 hours after posting this and the response is overwhelming. Thank you all for your comments.

The dimensions of this piece are 19" tall, 28" long and 5" wide.
I will be producing this as a limited edition bronze sculpture only, no resin copies. Edition size of 20.
This is a complicated piece to produce so they aren't cheap.
If you are interested in purchasing one and want more information please e-mail me directly at:

I first saw this in Spectrum, and it was a huge factor in inspiring me to move into 3D art.  Thank you so much for sharing!

This is so amazing my friend. I love the fluidity of the eel and how this piece is so directional.
Cheers

What I really like about this piece is how you make somewhat abrupt movements in the flow of the lines around both the eel's tail and the hair of the "eel walker".

I hope the international art community has recognized the significance of your creations and the value you provide to artists that are looking to make creations that are as vibrant as yours.

I think you are the Frazetta of sculpting!

Straight from the artist. Me.
By the way, Thanks for your last comment that I never responded to. Sorry! i've been a bit swamped.

There are 9 left in the edition of 20. These are cast to order. The price is $6,500. right now.
The foundry takes around 8 weeks to produce one with their current schedule.
I do require a 50% deposit to start the foundry on the process and the balance due when ready to ship.

Let me know if you are still interested.
I appreciate your interest in my work.

Hi Mark,

so sorry for such a long time reply. I don't spend a lot of time on Deviantart so wasn't even aware you replied to me directly. Again, my apologies.

Sadly I cannot afford this sculpture right now though I by no means think it's overpriced. I think it's worth every penny. Believe me, should I come into some money in the future, I'll be right here ordering it. You have a fan for life!

Thank you,

Margaret.
