Gonna spend some time exploring the possibilities of
the new DEcombinate function in M3D v1.69.6 [link]
As DEcombinates seem to take ages to render, I may be some time, but shall return!

Well, after nearly a year of fiddling about,
I think I'm finally getting the hang of it!
Worth persevering with though, think we're
gonna see a lot of DEcombinates popping up
here soon!
Good luck Mark, Luca
really slows things down!!
Cheers Luca!
Cheers!
As for DEcombinate, the span is very wide: from just a few minutes to a complete lock of the program.
Yep, haven't had a complete lock-up yet,
but it does use virtually all system resources,
patience definitely required!!
'High speed'??
I'll take 'High-Speed' over the 'A' word anytime!!
I don't like such long slowly renders too. I have tried out HalTennys render-tips .... sometimes it works!

and took only 6 hours or so - which I don't
really mind, as I generally just click 'calculate 3D' and go to bed!!
But, my 1st hi-res render with DEcombinate
took over 24 hrs!!
Probably down to my aged - like me! - system I guess....
