I'm actually looking for the 'right' 3D
modelling package at the moment to do that
very thing. Think some of my fractals are just
crying out to be 'populated'!
I'm still waiting for the rendering to finish with that colour scheme. It'll be close to 24 hrs for it to get done. I didn't think when I made it that it was that intricate. Better be worth it haha. I'll post it when I get home from work.
As this took around 12 hours to render, an
anim would be a big undertaking!
But I may try a short .gif anim, and see how
it looks....
3D fractals based on the 'Mandelbox'/'Amazing Box' do tend to exhibit
these filigree'd, arching features - no avoiding them it seems!
