Very nice! Cool to see what you did with the BoardIFS.. thats basically the root of the Checkmate image i did.. I find it was interesting to alter the square checkers to be other shapes.. that wasn't as intuitive as one would expect..
Thanks Mike. Yeah, for such a seemingly simple formula, I reckon it has a huge amount of potential. Just a pity that, at the moment anyway, it can't be combined with escapetime formulas, which would be a great boon.
OOOh! I feel a chance to learn something here... Please, if you would be so kind, enlighten me a bit on "escapetime formulas" as it is something that I dont know about, but I live to learn!
Would love to enlighten you Mike, but alas I'm no mathematician! If you want to discover more about Escapetime, goto: [link] or join FF and post your own queries?
I am a member of FF since I started using M3D... I just thought since you threw out the term that you could explain quickly what it meant is all. But no worries, google is my friend : )
Loved it but I am confused in how to install those new formula , after you open the zip where do you put it ? In the formula folder or what ? Sorry for the stupid Q but I only need to new ones but my computer keeps asking my if I need to copy the others .
You've got it right Patty; just unzip everything to M3D's 'M3Formulas' folder, and allow overwrite for all. The new formulas will show up when you reopen M3D.
Haha, yes, for many years I was definitely ANTI-gaming! Saw it as a HUGE waste of time - too many other important endeavors to pursue! But, I changed, and so did the games, and now I see the gaming world, especially the leading 3D games as at the forefront of creativity and imaginative media, surpassing movies. Still a huge waste of time to many, but like TV there is a vast goldmine within if you use it wisely and selectively! But Q*bert was pretty mindless!
In any case really nice image!
