You failed your final test by MarkHoofman You failed your final test by MarkHoofman
"Time was on your side but your obsession wouldn't let you wait. Instead of saving Detective Matthews, you cost him his life. You failed your final test."

The theatrical version of Saw IV's ending is SO MUCH better than the director's cut ending! Not only does it make sense instead of Hoffman appearing out of nowhere, but we actually SEE Hoffman unstrap himself and approach Rigg with new scenes! It also makes sense with the sake of continuity since this version of the ending returns in flashbacks in Saw VI. :D (Big Grin)

Just like V3 of Hoofman, I've had this art saved for a long time (March 2017 if I remember correctly.), intentionally waiting until around the time of Saw Legacy's (Jigsaw) release! =P (Razz)

Hope you all enjoy! I am a dummy!

This looks great! I can really see how much you've improved! :D

Unfortunately, since I own the director's cut of Saw IV, that means that the scene with Hoffman unstrapping himself was cut out. However, I have watched the scene on YouTube. I honestly thought it made the scene more powerful, so it was a shame that it was cut. :(

Yeah. Even Saw III has a really good theatrical ending! It's always the theatrical endings that are better than the directors cut. ;)

Agreed. Though, I just think the theatrical cut is slightly better. :)

I like both, but I do remember the theatrical version more since it's also used in Saw IV when Strahm follows Jeff.
