I'm getting a slanted drawing board for my desk. I've been feeling the back pain HAHA. I don't really sketch digitally, but I set up all my print files and occasionally do some animations on here and a cintiq would be awesome for that. Gotta finish paying off the giant printer and move right now, but after wards perhaps...my Intuos 4 is good enough for what I do, I'm just greedy and like my studio shots to look hardcore. LOL.
hi, I made some red lines. I thought I'd be able to upload them here, guess not.
I think this is great. The low lighting I LOVE. I think the smoke is going to me amazing, and her outfit is fantastic, the way you've made the metallic bits catch the light, booyahhh.
I had a few little anatomical tweaks on my red lines there - her left leg seemed to be a bit short compared to her right, and her right hip seemed to be a bit round for such a lean figure. (unless you were going for a more pulled up leg, then the foreshortening might be a little off there, so I did a separate version: [link] ) Her left upper arm is a little bit weak on the foreshortening as well. Her ribs seem to tuck in rather quickly, giving her a bit of a pinched appearance up there. This might be a little bit late in the game but she could also be a bit looser in the spine- a bit more curve to her torso would be a nice visual twinning with the swirling smoke.
Your hand skills have come an incredibly long way! This is going to be absolutely stunning, and I'm pretty excited to see this when it's done!
