Here is artwork from my latest YouTube video, in which I gather various bits of advice from my viewers in answer to this question: "What Do You Do When You Hate Your Own Drawings?" We've all been there before, and the tips in this vid could really help you cope if you find yourself in a similar situation.

You can also see most of the creation of this drawing, from light pencil sketch to final image. Thanks so much to those of you who choose to give it a watch!
All my best,
Mark

Thank You So Much !!

Oh WOW! She's adorable!!
Yes, definitely been there.
Especially lately.
I've had one too many I didn't like of my own drawings.
I repainted a face 4 times in one week. Ugg!
Thank you for the video it helped.
I have done most of those things, taken a break, pushing through and repainting a lot.
Personally, I repaint if I can or toss it aside, because I personally found that I end up holding it the back of head as a "fail."
It helps to let it go.
Throw it in the waste basket and yell score!
It is mostly that you have to remember to have fun and NEVER give up, because you started because you loved doing it, that hasn't change.
Sometimes we go through "tough" times.
Its hard sometimes, but you do come out of those "block" points...
And seeing your video and the other fellow artists go through this too helps a lot.
