In case you haven't noticed I have a thing for armor conceptualization especially helmets so several of my deviations are just just like this one.

I tried using a different painting process though I still don't have an organized or systematic way of painting
I did this mainly because I wanted to improve on skin tones and textures. I'm not sure if I did good so please leave a comment.

Her facial expression is a bit odd. Didn't put much thought on it. Hopefully the shaded eyes that fit the mood and strengthen the character is enough to make up for it. Tell me what you think. :)

Beautiful helmet design. You might think the expression is off, but I think it's a perfect mask of severity, especially under the shadow of the hard angled inner rim. "This bitch ain't got time for the likes or you" is her expression. Nice work.

I actually felt like I got the expression right when I sketched it but when I posted it on another site for critique some guy said her expression seems wierd. I'm aware that sometimes you overestimate you skills and you need a second eye to see things you might have missed so I thought "Maybe he's right" You seem to confirm my earlier judgment but I can't say the guy was wrong so maybe no one's absolutely right.

Thanks anyway! :)

Take critique in mind, but remember there will always be down-the-nose elitists who never have anything positive to say, as well as people who just plain aren't going to like your work no matter what it is - it's not their thing maybe. Always trust your own eye. You're an artist, you by nature have a keen eye for these things - or you wouldn't be able to make them.
