Let me just start by saying that I'm not the biggest fan of the story, but Oz as a place I quite like. Besides, Oz is one of the most famous fictional lands out there...I had to do this.
I mixed a bit of a circus theme in the poster... And I really like how the slippers turned out

I really enjoy this.
But also have to say: in original story the shoes were silver.
Just in the movie with Judy Garland, they decided to wear them in red,
they thought it would be more fashionable.

Unfortunately I've never read the books, but I'm aware of the color change the shoes went through.
Still, the shoes became famous as ruby and that's how they're recognized to this day, so that's what I went with.
