Hello I’m here on the behalf of
I am really impressed by what I see here, it’s a work of great complexity that required all of my attention to be critiqued in the right way.
Composition: You played a lot with symmetry and asymmetry, putting the girls, the doors and the elements in some kind of symmetric composition without really copying it from right to left. I also like a lot how all the elements in the background do not disturb that much the vision of the main subject. The only thing I would have something to say about is the position and size of the writings: they are in my opinion too little and get lost in the background.
Colors: the colors are the most outstanding part of the whole. They are pastel like, delicate yet cheerful and convincing. The fact that you stocked to the same hues and tones gives the piece a sense of unity and internal coherence. Moreover, they are strange colors to be seen together (pink, purple and orange). But this hazard paid very well.
Style: It reminds me so much of Ojamajo Doremi! It’s so cute and fluffy and maybe kawaii that is impossible not to appreciate some details like the smooth and curvy lines of the hair, the round eyes and the style you adopted for their feet. So simple, but it works so well. Going into detail I think that having a colored outline is always a winning card and you not only have a coloured lineart, you also have different colors for different areas. And also a kind of orange halo around the girls.
A few things more: technically speaking I love this piece, and I also noticed a subtle pattern underneath everything. There are a few imprecisions: in the violet girl’s hair there are some little points where I can see the orange beneath. This also happens in the skirt. And, in addition, there are some strange imprecisions in the outline.
For the rest everything is impressive and I’m so glad I came across your work! Keep up with it!
