I wish Breath of the Wild had actual dungeons. 
Three options won the poll. I guess I'll just do all three of them.

This is a really cute piece with a good concept overall but it does need a bit of work. Most especially with the composition and the lighting.

The background feels really empty even though there are some details there. They can't be seen though. The values of the different colors in the background match too much with the dark blue so I suggest bringing up the values a tad bit and adding more details to the background. Perhaps like a path leading up to the main character or various debris all over the place. Maybe even more of those glowing things.

Another thing: the lighting doesn't really make sense. Sure you want to emphasize the character but with the given lighting conditions, it really doesn't make sense. If you want to achieve the same result, perhaps give her a torch. That way, we can also get an idea of what the small area surrounding her looks like. it will really help with the composition too. Another thing-- the glowing things should light up more things than they do here. With light that strong, it travels a bit farther but a bit diffused (idk if thats the right term oof). Through the lighting of these things, you can add subtle details to the place.

And I think the composition could be better. Give more emphasis on the fact that it's a dungeon by making the character smaller. That way it gives more of a sense of adventure and the viewer could really get a feel of the place. Perhaps if the character was farther away from the viewer it would really help the composition.

What I really like about this piece are the colors. I love how you chose colors on the cool spectrum to be the dominant color while the character is more on the warm spectrum. This really helps bring attention to the character most especially since blue and orange are complementary so good job on that part.

Also, I really like your style. Its very cute and it totally has a lot of potential!

"Dungeon Crawler" was in reference to the character, not the area. I don't really know if this place is a dungeon, seeing as most media use that name for an old prison. I'm not sure as to exactly what kind of building I was trying to portray, but they're based off the labyrinths in Zelda 1. Those places are generally pretty empty, but a pile of ancient garbage sounds like a decent set piece. I think I'll consider it as a tile sprite for my game to add visual variety.
