Personally, me, I would definitely choose bigger page size. But that depends on where do I want to store it or do I have such resources. Also, do I need more details or less, and more of abstraction and silhouettes? For such work, size doesn't really matter. All is needed is a better view at it during the creation.
Now, about media. That's really question of preference, skills and time.
I, for instance, prefer pencils and paper. Pencils - 'cause they're much easier to wield, and paper - 'cause it lasts, while digital works, on the other hand, despite looking way much better, are bound by available technology (resolution, software, tab or mice, rig, etc.) and I don't have it. Moreover, to show my friends, I would have to print it out either way.
Also, I have to admit, it's a little bit due to the fact, that I worked very little with paint and other type of tools, I can work best with pencils. So far. Results you can see in my gallery.
In work making process, time plays quite a big role. If, for instance, I need to mash up something fast or fix wrong things in a good thing , or just to kill the boredom, then I prefer mixed media and photomanipulations. 'Cause it's the fastest and easiest way to create an artwork.
Eventually, if work is of high quality - contains high amount of information, skillfully done and accepted by many, then it doesn't really matter what media was chosen to make it. Work speaks for itself.
The question should be: What do you want to create? Why? How?How much time do you have or want to waste on it? Or How fast is it needed? and How viewers will react to it? 'Cause, judging by the results I've got, viewers prefer those works, that artist himself enjoyed making and wasn't driven by any outside influences - ideologies, opinions, philosophies, etc. All-in-all, you, my dear artist, wield the power to be heard by masses!
Wow, first thank you really really really much for your answer, and your opinion. I prefer pencils too, but I also love photography. I think that my biggest fear is that my watchers forget me because I don't post too much, because traditionnal art takes a lot of time and if I push myself, I will not like it anymore. That's why I ask, to see if people are not bothered if it takes times. Because I love all sort of size, and media. So, it depends on me, but also on the people who support me, like you. I will never let myself being influenced, because I can't draw properly if it's not a huge feeling I want to draw.
Thank you very much, you totally answered my question, and thank you again for your support, you're just amazing.
Anytime my friend, have you heard my music, I've been doing a lot of work for other musicians recently it's kept me very busy with art. I'm curently doing it all free, as it gets my name out there a lot more. If your ever interested in getting into something like that let me know and I can help you out if interested.
Just heard it, it's really really good! It's not really my style of music, I'm more classical, but your raps are really so damn good! You can do the background music and the lyrics? Really you're really good!
My good friend does the music, and I write and rap lyrics as well as organize more projects. I've got a lot still to come, and the people I aim my music at is actually the people who don't like rap usually. This is for a contest I am partnering up with youtu.be/fevlqqKnyVg As always I truly appreciate your feedback and thank you for your time taken! have a good day!
