Actually this was a work in progress for practice earlier this year that I somehow just never finished.
But I still kinda liked it and wanted to post it. So I yanked up the saturation and contrast and added a few finishing touches.
It's a bit messy but at least it's shiny now!
Since some people on twitter liked it the way it looks I decided to post it here too.

It's hard to explain in few words.
But in this painting there's a more or less detailed sketch I made first. Then I colored it flat and started painting the shadows, lights and details like I usually do.
After that there's a lot of tweaking to get the hues, saturation and contrast right. Maybe I'll do a more detailed tutorial someday.
But here is a little sample I did once on how my brushes for painting and blending look like:
My software is Clip Studio Paint btw, I prefer it to Photoshop.
