Monstercat Visualizer for Rainmeter
An realtime audio visualizer for Rainmeter similar to the ones used in the Monstercat videos.
Supports all major media players, including full Spotify (thanks to .raptor for the Spotify plugin) and Google Play Music Desktop Player (thanks to tjhrulz for his plugin) support.

Minimum Requirements:

Windows 7 or higher.
Rainmeter 4.2 Beta (r3074) or higher.

- Live visualization of the audio output
- Customizable colors and fonts
- Genre-based colors (AIMP, CAD, iTunes, WMP and Winamp)
- Cover-based colors (All supported players)
- Support for all major media players
- Full Spotify (Desktop & Web Player) support
- Full Google Play Music Desktop Player & Web Player support
- Full Youtube, Soundcloud, and other web music players support
- Media controls & progress bar
- Settings skin for easier customization/configuration
- Hide skin when media player is not running

You need the newest version of Rainmeter Beta installed (4.2 (r3074) or newer)!

This skin is not supported on Windows XP and Vista!

Due to limitations of Rainmeter/the plugin used for the visualization the complete audio output of your system will be shown on the visualizer. For the best experience only play music. This is something I can’t fix.

Hey I've been trying to get your Lano Visualizer to display the bars in a gradient for like a week. I've even been trying to learn Lua to help me.
But I literally cannot figure it out. Could you give me the secret sauce, that chunk of code that I can plug in so that can end this obsession. I would appreciate you so much.

Why does this skin use 50-60% CPU on a Win7 32bit platform, but works fine on Win7 64bit.  Is there a loop or something I am missing?

I think the issue lies with rainmeter itself, not with this particular skin. I say that because I was running a fairly simple collapsing menu skin in the past (on a 32bit Win7 box) and I was getting the same thing. When I rebuilt my computer, I installed Win7 64bit and no longer had this issue.

hey Marco, nice skin you made of Monstercat equalizer, I'm having a new problems.
Uninstalled it yesterday because I had a problem and now I have too =(

1- I can't see the id of the songs, I clicked Spotify.ini after downloaded it (i'm using Spotify) and it says N/A N/A
2- The bars change with the different genres or it's only on other media players?
3-The bars of the equalizer are fine but there's two or three of them that are WAY too high of the others, i don't know how to fix that :( can you help me?

Please refer to this earlier comment. It should answer your first question.…

For question 2, genre colors is currently not supported by the Spotify plugin. Keep in mind that this portion of the plugin is still in Beta and that this functionality will likely be added in future versions of Rainmeter.

For question 3, I assume you mean that there are two or three lines on the bass end that are consistently at 100% when playing music. There are a couple ways of fixing this:
    1. Modify your frequency range (mine is 40-16000)
    2. Turn down the output volume of the program it is feeding from or lower the sensitivity (My sensitivity setting is at 30).

The sensitivity setting can be found in variables.ini (right click on the skin, edit settings). The FreqMin and FreqMax can be found in the settings for the visualizer portion of the skin. For myself, I've adjusted both of these configurations, but what you do depends on a multitude of variables, including what kind of music you're listening to and its volume.

Here i've made you the "nocover" art that looks like default monstercat album art (http://)puu(dot)sh/jdGkS/535d2437ac.png  this one should be great with any colors. The curent "nocover" art looks awful on white color. hope you like it ^_^
