Marcellus Rants for 2026-01-30 ©. So it's the final weekend of January and all I see and hear is doom and gloom for our economy and jobs here in Canada. As of yesterday there were massive layoffs of workers in companies such as GM, Amazon, UPS and Tyson Foods. Others include HP by adopting AI and even Starbucks laying off workers. Altogether just these companies have achieved layoff-unemployment casualties of over 50,000 people! After 10 years and continuing under Liberal rulership in Ottawa still nothing has changed this downward spiral of non progress and the decimation of jobs. During this past decade and going on the economy and state of society has degraded further and further here in Canada, there are really no quality jobs for the average Joe or Jane. Most high paying jobs are in the Government itself or the companies where the Government has invested or handed out money to advance their agendas. Agendas which include and have the staple of pure Globalism. These
