Hopefully things will actually pick up here. I've been trying to work my way out of a long-term creative funk and I think there's some progress. This weekend I attended the Motor City Fur Con and had a good time. Met up with some cool people and spent way too much money.
The Rupelli comic will resume shortly. It's posted up to page 27 currently, and I'm calling that chapter 1. Page 28 will start a new chapter, with some fun things happening.
Been doing some custom car models for Trackmania 2 lately, learning more about polygon modeling and generally screwing around with odd car designs. If anyone wants to sit in on a boring session of me pushing vertices around, I'll be streaming on and off in the next couple days. I'll update my status here when I'm online. Hope to see you there.

As soon as I got started drawing the next pages for the comic, I realized I needed a good reference for Veronica's house interior. After digging up a pile of reference photos and a rough floor plan I started modeling her house. So, if I can keep my computer running long enough, that'll be the next thing(s) I post here.
Joe ~Radioswim (https://www.deviantart.com/radioswim) is coming over shortly for a drawing session. These have been working great lately and hopefully we get some good stuff done tonight as well.
The object of these weekly-ish sessions is that instead of drawing from life, we watch a movie and pause it whenever we want to draw what's on the screen. Either of us can hit pause, and both have to draw what's on the screen. Give it a shot sometime, it's a fun way to draw some stuff you normally might not draw.
Just thought I'd update this thing so you know I haven't abandoned everyone.
I've been slogging through a creative funk for the last several months. The next page of the comic is mostly done, and has been since July. The inks look great, I just need to build up the motivation to shade it. I've also been poking at the story here and there, so hopefully it'll be worth reading when I get around this mental block.
Thanks for continuing to stop by and there will be new stuff soon!
My buddy Joe ~Radioswim (https://www.deviantart.com/radioswim) is working on a graphite commission at my place and will be streaming on my account. We'll both be here, so tune in and say hi.
First off, hit this and crank it up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_1qpM8JLfs
The comic is progressing at its usual glacial pace. Page 28 is 90% sketched and I'm very happy with it. Look forward to that some time in the next week. Still planning on wrapping up the chapter and taking a short hiatus from posting it so I can focus on writing and sketching things ahead of time. Probably three or four pages before that. Also, there's some other art projects I desperately need to get to.
This should be fairly revealing. And this is NOT meant to be a diss or anything to people that are more into it than I am. Seriously, it's not. It's just interesting to see the response of someone that's just a comic artist and not a lifestyler. Statistics and stuff, you know.

How weird is that?
In other news, page 26 is obviously late, but coming along finally. Page 27 is one-third sketched and looking good. Stay tuned.
Warming up some clay in the oven for my next clay endeavor, a Veronica maquette. This should be interesting. The Marcello version is coming along inexplicably well. Is it a fluke? Can I repeat it? Let's find out.
