:bulletblue: My comment will be in french coz of lazyness.
Just: SEE or READ " PERSEPOLIS "

Translation

To all to whom these drawings do not say anything, it is URGENT that you purchase the DVD of "Persepolis" or better yet, the four volumes of the BD.
Marjane Satrapi, the author is Iranian. She tells us her life, first in Iran where she is witness to the fall of the Shah, the Islamic revolution and ensuing war against Iraq. His parents sent him while in Europe begins in a sense its "descent into hell."
The comic and the movie, very well adapted, are in black and white, the line relatively simple and the animation very successful. A cartoon that changes us from Disney / / manga and other stuff only in computer graphics and a completely original comics.
Everything is served with great humor and a critical look at what happened to Iran (and at the same time a quick history lesson on a country that has historically experienced very bad)

Finally here I can not say enough praise on this work, I just bought the DVD, I réemprunté comics at the library for the 3rd time ...

I dedicate this drawing to much

The books are of course more complete than the movie but it's really well adapted. We have not the impression that something miss.

You only read Persepolis 1???? But you have to read the 4 volumes!

Yeah she wrote other books like "poulet au prunes"
the story of a Iranian musician who lost his instrument and who can't find another one as good as his first instrument. So he don't want to live anymore.

I've seen another part of the film on Youtube. It had Marjane and her Grandma watching Godzilla. Of course, I don't know what they were saying since it didn't have any subtitles. I'm still going to try to see it.
