Ranger Costume - From Rear by Manveruon Ranger Costume - From Rear by Manveruon
Taken by a friend on opening day of the Colorado Renaissance Festival 2013.

This isn't the very best shot in the world, but I wanted to show the back of my costume because it's so rarely seen.

Awesome! I really like this costume and you've done a really good job! What fabrics have you used to make it?

Thanks!  Both my tunic and under-tunic are linen, the hood is some kind of cotton flannel I think (I'm going to be replacing it before too long with one made of wool, and a lighter one of linen for hotter days), and the pants are actually stretch-cotton women's exercise pants.  Everything else is leather.
I appreciate your kind words!  I have worked a long time on this costume, and it's about to get a major overhaul too, so keep an eye out for updates!

Ok, thanks a lot ^_^ I'm currently working on a winter-outfit myself and I'm using mostly wool and linen myself, but there will be some leather as well. I might make a ranger-ish costume when summer draws closer and your outfit is great inspiration!

Thank you!  I'm flattered that you think so!

And honestly, I really like what you've already put together on your own outfit!  I can't wait to see what else you come up with!  You would make a fantastic ranger!

Thanks!  I've worked a long time on the details to get everything just right.  The key is making it look lived in - so it doesn't just look like a costume, but actual clothing.
