As the Keepers were saying their goodybe’s to Carvox, Haldor approached to them, looking for an adventure. Khaldor might have got an idea that would be good for both of them, meeting another clan. Carvox and Haldor exchanged a quick glance as they were ushered forward by the Keepers, who had gone notably pale and wary upon nearing the domain of The Order. The transition into this territory had been like stepping from daylight into shadow, as if a veil of unseen tension clung to the atmosphere. The air itself was thick and hostile, neither humid with the life of a forest nor arid with the age of forgotten knowledge. Instead, it was an unnatural amalgam of both—a pressure that clung to the skin and filled the lungs with a lingering taste of something tainted as they entered vast caverns.
