Harley's Paper and BalloonThe old warehouse felt like a familiar place for Nightwing to get captured in. As he struggled to free himself from the chains holding him down on the massive metal table. It was hopeful, he was knocked out when he was strapped in by the goons that were now gone to let whatever Joker had planned to happen happen.
Thankfully, Roy who was nearby chained himself, albeit standing upright, was there to also suffer with. Though he had a funny feeling Roy would strongly disagree.
Instead Red Arrow himself was also chained up, not exactly in any better a shape than Nightwing. But was at least standing upright as opposed to laying down like his friend in the black and blue was. “Nightwing you think you can free yourself?” Red Arrow asked in a whisper. Nightwing tried one more time in vain.
“No, I can’t reach the locks…” Nightwing replied in as low a tone.
“Damn.” Red Arrow sighed, mildly frustr
Kyle Rayner and the Iron Men (Commission)Space.
The infinite void.
The endless existence of planets, life, and meaning.
Why… does it have to be so BORING!?
Kyle Rayner sighed frustrated, staring around at the blackened galaxy around him. The only real color he saw being the green hue his ring had around him to protect him from the oxygen deprived abyss around him. He knew he was there on Green Lantern business that was for sure. Some war ship was giving the local planet problems. So they had Kyle go out to that particular galaxy and investigate. Needless to say the supposedly dangerous war ship was proving itself a pain to find. Kyle didn’t have time for this crap, he had a deadline on some of his art coming up quick.
Glancing around one more time Kyle groaned, starting to return to the comm line he had with the ring to Hal Jordan. He was planning on whining a little, saying he couldn’t find it. The planet’s people could be lying, who knows?
Rescue By Night“I hate suits, stupid things are always too stuffy.”
Dick Grayson sighed irritated as he glanced down at the rather simple tuxedo he had on for the evening gala. It was an event that any other day of his life he would of happily avoided like the plague. Sitting back at home, eating Lucky Charms out of the box, and watching his DVD collection of cartoons and animes. This time though the reason for Dick’s arrival at the event had nothing to do with a sudden craving for fancy snacks and an urge to chat with old boring white rich people.
Truthfully Dick wasn’t even invited to the event, though he of course invited himself since he could and felt no reason not too. The reason laid underneath the mansion’s fancy exterior and below, down in the not so fancy basements where the truth laid beaten viciously, and tied to an old chair in the middle of a dark stone walled room. Dick’s long time friend for some unexplained reason, Red
Fantastic ExpansionBeing in the Fantastic Four meant always being ready for anything. Some days are hectic, filled with bad guy after bad guy, near disaster after near disaster. Today though wasn’t really one of those days. No emergencies, no Doom, No Nick Fury. Nothing. Reed Richards took it all in stride. Spending the day in his lab, still in his blue, white, and orange unstable molecule suit. He had just finished up a prototype when he glanced over at the nearby computer screen rubbing his eyes. 11:23 pm. Reed sighed realizing the day had now come and gone. It was then hearing the quiet that made him think for a moment. Something he was well used too but it was a different matter all together.
He stretched his head out of the lab, looking down the halls and seeing that his teammates, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, and his girlfriend Susan Storm, were all asleep. Reed smirked slightly, as he retracted his head back to his body.
