Fantastic ExpansionBeing in the Fantastic Four meant always being ready for anything. Some days are hectic, filled with bad guy after bad guy, near disaster after near disaster. Today though wasn’t really one of those days. No emergencies, no Doom, No Nick Fury. Nothing. Reed Richards took it all in stride. Spending the day in his lab, still in his blue, white, and orange unstable molecule suit. He had just finished up a prototype when he glanced over at the nearby computer screen rubbing his eyes. 11:23 pm. Reed sighed realizing the day had now come and gone. It was then hearing the quiet that made him think for a moment. Something he was well used too but it was a different matter all together.
He stretched his head out of the lab, looking down the halls and seeing that his teammates, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, and his girlfriend Susan Storm, were all asleep. Reed smirked slightly, as he retracted his head back to his body.
Rescue By Night“I hate suits, stupid things are always too stuffy.”
Dick Grayson sighed irritated as he glanced down at the rather simple tuxedo he had on for the evening gala. It was an event that any other day of his life he would of happily avoided like the plague. Sitting back at home, eating Lucky Charms out of the box, and watching his DVD collection of cartoons and animes. This time though the reason for Dick’s arrival at the event had nothing to do with a sudden craving for fancy snacks and an urge to chat with old boring white rich people.
Truthfully Dick wasn’t even invited to the event, though he of course invited himself since he could and felt no reason not too. The reason laid underneath the mansion’s fancy exterior and below, down in the not so fancy basements where the truth laid beaten viciously, and tied to an old chair in the middle of a dark stone walled room. Dick’s long time friend for some unexplained reason, Red
The Great Metal Russian BalloonAs the Charles Xavier School for the Gifted was in the midst of another day of… whatever you would call such subdued chaos. Bobby Drake, a teacher attending the school and known by many as ‘Iceman’, took a seat in the living room with a book. Wearing only a hoodie with a shirt and jeans on. Though already the sight was not a common thing for someone like Bobby. A guy who outside of teacher reports, comic books, and magazines he’ll hide under his bed afterwards, never has been one to read much of anything. However the book in question Bobby had peeled open. A simply massive book bound by leathered aged by time. All of it written in numerous old, forgotten languages with countless spells and incincations. Dr. Strange was giving it as a present to Charles Xavier, with Bobby tasked with going to Strange’s mansion and picking it up. Although when he returned Xavier left for important matters. Leaving
Ultimate Spider-BloatAs the city streets glowed under the bright lights of New York City. Spider-Man could hear the cheers and jeers he often did as he swung through. Tonight though wasn't so much the usual routine of swinging around aimlessly until trouble showed up. Tonight he had gotten a text message about a friend wanting to meet him in a hidden area. So traveling to the rooftop in question. Spider-Man skidded to a stop glancing back down at his text. "Man if this is another set-up I should just get a new phone number…" Spider-Man stated to himself.
"You're late..." Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist walked out of the shadows. Dressed in his green and yellow attire. The mask covering the top of his head. "Sorry about the text, Luke wouldn't let me use a voice call. Something about it costing more."
"Hey I'll have you know I'm a very busy man. Lots of…" At that moment Spider-Man couldn't really think of what he had going that night. Besides another quiet night at the house doing
Kyle Rayner and the Iron Men (Commission)Space.
The infinite void.
The endless existence of planets, life, and meaning.
Why… does it have to be so BORING!?
Kyle Rayner sighed frustrated, staring around at the blackened galaxy around him. The only real color he saw being the green hue his ring had around him to protect him from the oxygen deprived abyss around him. He knew he was there on Green Lantern business that was for sure. Some war ship was giving the local planet problems. So they had Kyle go out to that particular galaxy and investigate. Needless to say the supposedly dangerous war ship was proving itself a pain to find. Kyle didn’t have time for this crap, he had a deadline on some of his art coming up quick.
Glancing around one more time Kyle groaned, starting to return to the comm line he had with the ring to Hal Jordan. He was planning on whining a little, saying he couldn’t find it. The planet’s people could be lying, who knows?
Blimpios' Next Move (Commission)Tony Stark shook his head as he looked at the screen, before turning back to Steve Rogers. “So the pink cream puff is back again?”
Steve Rogers himself just stayed looking at the screen, sighing, as his arms rested on his body. Still puffed out a few good feet around like a ball. “Yep.” Was all he could muster.
Around a few days ago, Captain America, along with SHIELD agent Clint Barton, were sent in on a strange report of a massive man in a pink suit was producing a gas that was making people expand like balloons. The attempts to stop him didn’t end well leaving Captain America and Hawkeye both turned into human balloons. Although since then SHIELD has been able to figure out a way to reverse the effects. The turnaround takes time however, and Steve and Clint have been sidelined as they’ve wait to being deflated completely.
Blimpios, the man in question behind the incident, has been a weird subject for New Y
Blimpios: The SHIELD InitiationWhen Blimpios dealt with the triple powerhouse force of Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. Things seemingly looked bleak until Blimpios pulled out a last second move which inflated the three heroes. Afterwards the pink clad hero had seemingly vanished, not showing up in the city again since. The public opinion on why was mixed, some figured he was tending his wounds and probably was done for now. Others thought maybe SHIELD finally captured him and had him locked up with all the other super villains. Though aside from a very small campaign for the truth, Blimpios faded from the public mind rather strikingly quickly.
The truth was, Blimpios was in East Rutherford, New Jersey, making pancakes.
“Here ya go sport!” Barrett Zepp Winston gently slid the plate of a small stack of two pancakes, given an icing smiley face and sprinkles, along with a pair of strips of bacon, and some scrambled eggs. The young boy smiled up at Barrett from his seat in the booth before him and his parents dug i
Stretch Into The Wild (Commission)The entrance of the Twa Satich Shrine had looked the same as the others, Link noticed so as he approached its entrance. It was however secluded against the small mountain facing the east. “This should be the last trial shrine according to the Sheikah Slate…” Link remarked to himself as he put his broadsword away. During what was a fairly lonely journey, although marked with the occasional other people. Link sought comfort in his voicing his own thoughts to himself. It might be a sign of insanity sure, but even just hearing his own voice occasionally was something to help ease nerves. Curious as to what it had, Link pulled the Sheikah Slate from his belt and tapped it against the pedestal. ‘Sheikah Slate confirmed.’ came out of it in a lifeless, but gentle voice.
As Link arrived into the shrine, hearing the voice of Twa Satich say ‘To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Twa Satich. In the
