Mangatellers

Mangatellers are the Hellenic duo Voutsidis Rafail and Kariofillis Chris Hatzopoulos.

Our hobby is to write screenplays for manga and comics in general. Our dream is to become professional screenplay writers for manga, also known in Japanese as Gensaku-sha. We know each other from our childhood years. The passion of reading manga and researching comic history in all kinds of genres was born in our hearts at the same time.

We started making our first manga stories, based on classic screenplay format in 2008. Until now we have create two long scale stories and many small scale stories (31-45 pages), aka "one shots". Our first story is " R.u.N." We have already finished three volumes, but the story continues in our forth ongoing arc. The second story is "Mythos". For the time being Mythos is an one volume story, expanded in 50 chapters. We hope we will have the chance to continue the story in the second upcoming volume. The collection of the screenplays of our one shot stories cover a variety of fields, shonen, seinen, sci-fi, sports and lots of more.

We are going to participate in different competitions for new comer manga artists with some of these one shots. Our dream and goal is to work with Japanese manga public houses with our projects and have a chance to release them to the country which bears this form of art.
