I'm a publisher and I'm making a group to help publishers and artists meet; each publisher has a folder in the group's gallery in which writers and artists who want to publish with them may submit their works to that folder so publishers may easily browse through them.5. mangoslice.net

I'm in the process of creating a forum for people who are serious about becoming manga makers.
The forum is geared towards having artists and writers help each other by posting resources and giving/receiving feedback.
I was wondering if you could help spread word of it within your group. It would be of great help to me, and hopefully to aspiring manga makers as well. ( You can find out more about the community on our front page )
You can view the forum here: www.mangoslice.net
We're also interested in looking for moderators who can contribute to the community... so if you're interested, please let me know.
Thanks for reading!!,

This is Peter Johnson (aka Petenks
from dA). A few of us on dA started an online anthology dedicated to helping independent Manga-artists called the Global Manga Initiative
, and we're giving away $5000 in awards to the best aspiring manga-ka on the web. I'd like to ask about working with MangaAnimeArtists to help spread the word.
Basically, it is our goal to find and reward the best indie-Manga creators out there on sites like deviantart, MangaMagazine, Batoto etc. and we have set up a system of nomination/voting to allow the creative-community to determine which works deserve the recognition/reward the most. However, our group is still very small, and we are having trouble getting notoriety for our project as we lack any major promotional-outlets. To this end, we're trying to spread word of the project through various dA groups to reach as many artists as we can so we can really find and reward the best OC-manga out there.
We'd like to ask if it would be possible to work with AnimeMangaArtists to help spread-awareness of what G.M.I. is trying to do and possibly help find people interested in getting-involved with the project. Nothing too fancy is necessary; we'd be happy with something as simple as a Journal-post or a mention from an admin, just something to get the ball-rollin'. While we'd certainly appreciate any additional-aid, the important thing is simply to get word out there that we're trying to reward creators around dA. I have included a link to our information-pages here
and our dA Group at
