I was having a conversation with Kali, who is one of the mathematic geniuses who also love to see what "the artists" makes of their formulas. I love this mutual respect that we have for each others skills at fractalforums www.fractalforums.com/, that is what makes it such a intense boiling pot of ideas.
I promised I would do a piece which included one of his formulas, this made me exchange my favorite 'cosine power 8 mandelbulb' with Kalis 'KaliLinCombSSE2sm' in this hybrid: MANDELWERK.deviantart.com/art/… and out came this beautiful weirdness.

We all think about this terrible event today I believe.
I remember that day ten years ago too well.
