...now if you could just get 20 or 30 similar prints together - figure out how to frame the suckers - I'm certain you would have an eye-popping cracker jack gallery show !
That is unbelievable! Truly incredible! It would seem that I must call you Mr. MandelBulb!
Amazing print, which begs the question... What type of printer did you use? (I know that I'll never be able to afford it but, it would be interesting to know.) Also, is that a fused deposition model that you made, in your hands? Very cool!
I really like how you brought all these amazing elements together in a simple, yet tasteful environment. Astounding work!!!
Well thanks, but for me there are others who are more worthy of the title Mr. Mandelbulb, se my blog entry: [link]
But maybe mr. big printings of mandelbulbs
The printer is not mine, I had a printing company to do the printing for me, the cost for this kind of print is about 55£ per square meter, so you do not have to be a millonaire, just slighltly whacko...
Thanks for the link, Mr. big printings of mandelbulbs! After I posted I figured it must have been a commercial print. Although, you never know. I definately think it was worth it! Slightly whacko is fun! You're very welcome.
The photo doesn't relly do it 100% justice, more like 70%, it was hard not to get reflections, lots of details in the "dark" areas on the print are not visible here.
oh, the drummer needs some coffee...
As for all factal exploaration there is a limit when your computer runs out of decimals, but you can go very deep...
The image was made with Subblues PixelBender script: [link]
I did lots of 4000x 4000 pixel tiles that I stiched together in Photoshop.
That is unbelievable! Truly incredible!

I wish you could see the print for real... I might have an exibithion some day, then I could invite all my three hardcore fans
Yes it is nice, so small details that you have to treat it as glass, or they will fall of....
BTW someone asked about the resolution, it is 42308 x 23238 pixels
A bit of Salvador Dali too, I think...

Insanity rocks!
Problem is that it is hard to avoid reflections on a print this big, and my friend had too little time...

Rendering time?
