I found these probes a while ago somewhere close to 'Moonbase Claustrophobium' [link] , but could never decide if I should zoom in on them or show the whole "room" they are located in.
Now, using Jesses new specular function in the upcoming release of MB3D I was able to have both scenarios in one.
This version of Mandelbulb 3D is now released: [link]

I guess I have to make a stereoscopic render of this one now.
Thank you!
From the read me file in Mandelbulb 3D:
STEREO:
-------
Use real world values as parameters for calculating a 'left-eye' image
relative to the current object view.
If you set the minimal distance to low, the image may be shifted to much.
After rendering the light adjustments are blocked because the left-eye
image uses some of the 'right-eye' image parameters.
After calculating with the 'Calculate 3D' button, the lighting works again.
Sorry J, couldn't resist that! Superb image mate!
Might be worth a revisit when the 'reflection' function is available?
Thank you Mark!
But I think it will be released this already weekend...
