…the Fusion… and finished version.
I was asked to do a bigger render of this piece: [link]
And I decided to go for the exact size of Vermeers original, which is 9 5/8 x 8 1/4 in. (24.5 x 21 cm.) or 2480 x 2894 pixels @ 300 dpi.
It is not just a bigger render, I have changed the light so it is from the same angle as the light in Vermeer:s original.
This time I also decided to fuse my fractal version with the original, I did not move the original image at all, and the shapes fits so well I almost get scared… Hope you like it.
Text from the 'study': Second image in my series (?) of fractal versions of classical masterpieces, this time "The Lacemaker" by Vermeer (/Dalí).
To make a long story short, Salvador Dalí was fascinated by the connection between "The Lacemaker" by Vermeer [link] and the horns of the Rhinoceros. [link] [link]
This lead me to do a comment to LMarkoya that "The Lacemaker" probably where hiding somewhere in the Rhinoceros fractal I was working on at the moment: [link]
And a couple of days ago I found her (not in that fractal though), in this image she is mysteriously merged with the rhino and the furniture! I feel a quantum-physical state in these 3D fractals, the images doesn't exist until you start looking for them.
Fractal part rendered with Mandelbulb 3D. Vermeers original masterpiece superimposed to the fractal in Photoshop..
See it perfectly framed here:

One of my own favorites!
Defies gravity as any lacemaking rhino should.
Thank you for your insight Kwasi!
amazing everything thats nice put together in one!!
Beautiful job...and deep within the Dalinian mindset. The Rhinoceric horns Dali ised wwere the forbearers of fractal knowledge, and depicted not only the fractal folding of space, but the inherent energy in the painting.
FOr the image you are awarded one melting watch
I am quite pleased with this version myself, and your words makes me understand why.
What surprised me the most was the shapes that shows the direction of her concentration, through the fingers of her hands. And that all the other shapes also fits like they had always been there.
I hope to see your version soon...
