Claustrophobia (from Latin claustrum "a shut in place" and Greek φόβος, phóbos, "fear") is the fear of having no escape and being closed in small spaces or rooms (opposite: claustrophilia). It is typically classified as an anxiety disorder and often results in panic attack. (From wikipedia)

Was going to try the new soft combinate and found this in a very basic DE combinate of a Mandelbulb and a Menger sponge, I enjoyed the strong feeling of being trapped so much I had to share it.

It is also two years since the Mandelbulb was discovered at fractalforums.com [link] I will probably do a classic mandelbulb image to celebrate this...

Isnt this a good example of your fractal surreal psychological thinking... I especially like your explanation on being trapped in Mandelbulb and Menger, to add another depth to the image, though I dont know what this is yet :)
Apart from it being beautiful and intriguing.

Definitely, and also this: [link] and the animations: [link] [link] and [link]
…which later turned into the basket of bread: [link] which is currently on the exhibition… time to get on the train to Karlstad Sanne! ;)

Thank you!!! :)

This led me to try the DE Combinates myself, honestly never used it before. But it seems way to slow/cpu-intensive for animations.

I have not felt it is particularly slower than normal hybrids, I did a few short animations with DE-combinate...

Perhaps its just my first impression. Thanks for the info, i will dive deeper into the Combinates. I usually only do 1080p in 3 to 4 min lenghts. Wenn schon, denn schon ;)

Also, Johan, if you think there's something lacking in my post, please let me know... Thanks!
