that kept running through my mind as I worked on this journal cover. A friend of mine gave me his old watch at it had stopped at 12:39 and somehow it inspired this cover design.
Old, forgotten and neglected
It is made of Super Sculpey with assorted found objects. I forgot how wonderful it is to work with Super Sculpey...it feels so nice in your hands and it is so pliable and stretchy. I'm going to have to buy more! lol

There is something beautiful yet sad about this... like a town that has been buried in dust and forgotten, leaving behind everyday items and precious keepsakes of the lost residence. Trinkets and treasures for which we will never know the true value, or understand the lives of the people who owned them.
