Have you ever heard of inchies? They are tiny, 1" square works of art that can be made out of any material. The only rule is that they must measure 1" square. They were originally made of paper but I also have some made of copper, bead embroidery, glass, ceramic and polymer clay. The tiles in this photo are some of the ones that I created from polymer clay.
They can be used in mosaic art, found object art, altered art, framed in groups, used to decorate a journal cover, box and so much more. They can be traded between artists. I personally have a collection traded with artists all over the world.
