Forsaken Gates -- RPGI 0006
it took a little over 5 and a half days to get to the wondrous City of Yln Esari. five of youwere sent on a quest to convince King Evindal Larenhal to forgive and forget Napinzi's past leadership oversights as well as amend current relations between their people. one of the ways set to help accomplish this task is in the gifting of "The Black Rock" otherwise known as Napinzi's Black Diamond. an emblem of purity and perfection, a stone almost the size of a softball, it stands for committment, faithfulness and promise among the Drow of ancient times long, long ago. worthy of eight to ten glorious castles in a fair exchange, it is a symbol of unconquerable will, faith and loyalty as well as intellectual knowledge,.. ...but it still may not be enough.there is a strange energy in the air, the people and in all life here in Yln Esari. hi tech communication devices fail to make contact pass the city limits, and the city itself cannot be heard or seen from any and all direction unless you are guided or brought in by someone that lives there. small playful humanoid creatures no more than an inch tall can be observed along with their habitats in pockets all over the city with wings flying like bees and butterflies would, except much more gracefully. having trace the same exact path going to the market, the walk back to your quarters was found a bit odd by some among you taking what seemed almost like five times the length of time it originally took to get there in the first place.your party has already acquired some books and have seen and spoke to the King, Prince Irongoth and Lady Byleya among others. your visit here comes across more limited than what you and the others may prefer. it is a strange, beautiful and unique place that seems to have a hidden dangerous undertone you can almost feel but cannot see. how long should you stay before choosing to abandon this mission and cause? the war is coming with every passing day for Napinzi and the Lyon Nation and you find yourselves now split with others from Forsaken Gates.so what do you do?
