Commissioned art. Inks with rapidographs and bit of brush. Question do you guys prefer the brush look or the tech pen look? anyways washes done with water color and ink.

Oh, that's just lovely. Great pose and angle. Gotta say I prefer the rapidograph inking. Don't ask why, just like the quality of pen lines. Really nice image.

Well I know for sure that I sure as hell love this! (I'm afraid I don't know enough about drawing to explain it in better terminology ._.)

the perspective is really cool, I would say.. It kind of has you off-balance, while she is firmly planted on the ground.. adding to the power she has in the picture.. I'm also very fond of your watermark, sneaky, I nearly didn't catch it on the rocks :D

I can't say I have a prefernec to the brush or the tech pens in this piece, I think you struck a great balance using both. Great job with the washes also... excellent piece!!!!

how long did it take?

(sorry if the question as already been asked)

At first (like 2 years ago) I though that tech pen was better for dynamism, but then I discovered Eric Canete and Paul Pope...

And I've got the same problem that you have : to "ink like you draw".

She's beautiful, by the way ;)

I think this one took..3-4 hours... and yeah canete and popes dynamic lines are fantastic!
