What is the Cult of the Red Star?

The story before the birth of the Sisters
A long time ago, before the births of Scarlet and Lyra, a pair of sisters ruled the NGC 6656 system. They were prosperous, healthy, and their system grew and advanced through many many years of peace and prosperity.
The elder sister Queen, Queen Selea, gave birth to a lovely young daughter Lauret. The younger sister Queen also wanted a child of her own but was forever unable to conceive. She began to withdraw from her sister and niece as her jealously and resentment of their happiness grew and grew.
Eventually, the younger sister Queen left, exiling herself for her failure to have a child of her own, for her failure to love her niece and sister, and for her failure to be the Queen she was meant to be. Wishing only for death, the angry sister left herself drift aimlessly through space. But death did not come. As she lay asleep, a dark cloud surrounded her, and from this darkness came a voice...
The voice spoke to her and gave her a single egg... begging her to be the mother she had always wanted to be with the promise of unending love from her children for all of eternity. The young queen took the egg... And from that egg hatched a beautiful dragon: a Cosmic Dragon, eater of worlds. TThe young Queen began to call herself the Dragon Mother.
Her first child, Empyrean, grew strong for it's mother and soon gave to it's mother many grandchildren. Finally with her family, the Dragon Mother became happy, doing everything necessary to keep her children and her children's children alive and well...
Back at the home she left, her name and purpose was lost to all but the history books. Her sister ruled for many years before her daughter Lauret took the throne as NGC 6656. She too had children of her own: two daughters. One who took the mantle of NGC 6656 and rules her system with a steadfast dedication that cannot be match. The other who was bestowed with the powers of the blue star became Messier 22, the princess of the system who remains the headstrong but logical sister who gives advice to her elder ruling sister, NGC 6656.

M22's Wish to fight with the Messier Alliance
The Princess under the Red Star was approached when the Messier Alliance was still forming. Though no war was upon them, the need to build an alliance to protect against possible evils was a great undertaking that Lyra wanted to be part of. With the blessing of her sister, Messier 22 joined the newly formed alliance and began to work with her own courts independently as whispers of a terrible evil in the Dream World began to be heard...
NGC 6656's Recruitment into the Sisterhood
Scarlet, the Red Star, has always kept the peace in her system. Despite being invited into the Messier Alliance with her sister and Princess, Messier 22, she declined choosing instead to continue to hunt down her family's dirty secret before she destroyed more innocent lives.
But, when Messier 42 pulled Messier 24 from the Dream World and Ice Queen Isolde escaped, NGC 6656 knew that she could not let her young sister and Princess face such evil and power alone. She accepted a leadership role in the Sisterhood and pledged her Red Star Sisters to help in the face of any evil, be that evil far or near. Many of her Lyre senshi still hunt down the Dragon Mother and her hoard of Cosmic Dragon children, but the rest lay in wait for when they are needed. And during the war against Ice Queen Isolde, the Red Star Sisters made a brilliant show of their strength when they fight together...

THE PRESENCE OF EVIL
before the birth of Messier 22, a great and beautiful queen lived in the NGC 6656 system. All she wanted was to be a mother but was unable to have children. At a loss, she left and found an evil power that gave to her a child... A dragon egg. This once great Queen became the Dragon Mother. Her only goal now is to keep her beautiful children, the Cosmic Dragons, alive. By feeding them entire planets, stars and moons, her magnificent children are able to become stronger and live longer. The longer they live, the longer their mother stays young and immortal.
