The truth is that we all have invisible struggles and you SHOULD try to be understanding, but that doesn't always happen... Big or small, I hope each of you out there with an invisible struggle has a positive outcome to your own personal journey <3

My own journey has been long.

I started treatment for my mental health issues in 2001 (I won't bore you with all the details lol). It has been a long time in coming, but we finally have a pill cocktail that has put my Bipolar 1 disorder in remission. I also live daily with Borderline Personality Disorder (with Cluster B traits), an Anxiety disorder (with panic attacks), a Mood disorder, delusions, suicidal thoughts, and Obsessive Compulsive disorder.

To those that know me...

I am sorry I go from 0 to 1000 in a split second and then back again equally as abrupt. I am sorry I stare off into space for no reason and miss entire conversations or appear to ignore you (or put you on read). I am sorry I get triggered easily some days and not others ... and there is no way of knowing what kind of day we are going to have. I am sorry - I wish I could control it.

To those who interact with me - be it forced or on your terms - and we end the day on a happy note: Thank you. Thank you for the work you put in so we both might have a happy day. It means the world to me. And to everyone who interacts with me with understanding and patience, I see you and hear you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart <3

To everyone I say: Take me as I am - not broken - just different.

It took time to learn better self-acceptance, to make my suicidal depression and anxiety mostly behave, to learn to deal with the intrusive thoughts that always come back. Healing and learning better ways are hard, but worth it. So high-fives to you, Lantiis, and to everyone working on it.

I see your efforts. You got this. I'll hold your tasty beverage of choice.
