So I am sure you have already seen the couple of journals I have written about a friend, dedizenoflight (aka Dezi or Anna), and if you haven't read them fully, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about. Well, Dezi is only 18 and was diagnosed with bone cancer this past week. Her survival looks solid at this time, chemo will start soon, and it is looking like she will most likely have to have part of her arm amputated where the bone is just too dead to be revived. You can find all the information you need to help her in the journals I write, in our group supporting her WeFightForDezi and on our Facebook page. Please don't be discouraged if you cannot donate money - we will accept points (we have a way to turn them into cashy money) and Dezi is an artist like you so some wonderful art will surely cheer her up (along with some well-deserved hugs).My Artosphere
I finally caught up with all commissions and gifts!!! WOO! Now this next week will be the week of PRIZES! That is right, if I owe you an art prize, this is the week you should get it. /rolls on floor/In the span of a day or two within my Family Clinic doctor telling me I was sick with osteosarcoma and I would need to go to Texas Oncology for further treatment, an absolute *torrent* of support just all of a sudden just came rushing at me. I am just absolutely floored! I really am! I will be honest with you guys; I'm mostly a lurker, and I don't tend to talk to a lot of people unless they're in SMV, which, as you can tell, has been my life for the past few months lol.
