The admins will be working to make sure all the dorms and teams are balanced. One admin (pokes myself) still has to make a map of Story City for you, so that will be done soon too along with a new core journal of all the maps for your easy retrieval.August Events
It's the first day of classes! o.O That is right, you are being thrust into your classes. Four weeks in August means four attempts to wow your new instructors! For this event, you can do either written work or visual artwork. Visual artwork does NOT have to be colored but needs to be more refined than a sketch. If you don't participate at least one time (meaning submit at least one work), you will lose your opportunity to possibly be the Cadet Chief of your dorm/team. This is the Lieutenant's second and her eyes and ears when she isn't around.Week 1
It is your first week in classes. You don't know anyone and your team hasn't been officially announced yet. How do you impress your fellow cadets? OR what happens that makes you look a little less impressive to your fellow cadets?
Week 2
Your team has been assigned and you have moved into your dorms. There is one sweet spot in the dorm room next to the window with its own nightstand. Do you get that spot that all 4 of you on your team want? If so, how did you convince the others to let you have it? Did you create an enemy in your team? Did you start a secret alliance?
Week 3
First practice as a team! You have been chosen as temporary Cadet Chief and your Lieutenant has issued a challenge to cross a series of walls as a team. No one can be left behind and no powers can be used. What does your course look like? How do you plan to get you and your team across all the walls without leaving a single person behind?
Week 4
Finally, you have proven yourself! You are allowed to use your powers in classes now! It is the first class for testing your chosen ability. What is your power? How do you activate it? What happens the first time you try using it? Is it a hilarious mishap? Are you successful beyond all reason and belief?
Timeline and Rules
All entries must be submitted to the August event gallery folder by August 31st, midnight. You do not have to submit one entry a week. We want you to be creative, so you are more than welcome to do a series of comic pages, a short fanfic, collaborate with another artist (must state who and who did what in the description of each work), etc. Take your time and have fun with it.Lit works must be at least 2 paragraphs long and formatted for easy reading.
Sketches are not allowed. Must submit at least finished lineart if doing visual works.
Judging is based soley on creativity.
We will not judge you for your drawing skill level or English speaking ability. Creativity is where it is at!

Your Officer Team
Coming in September
Once everyone has introduced themselves, we intend to be in the RP come September. We will attempt to be as active as possible there during August as well for you all to start RP-ing now if you are ready.
Prizes
Winning artists (written or visual) will be honored as the Cadet Chief of their team and be the stand-in leader if their Lieutenant or Captain must step away. This includes a couple perks such as fewer duties, the best bunk in the dorm, and a few other things to be disclosed later. The winning Cadets also get to wear a special armband at graduation and will receive a flat colored custom art of their cadet at graduation by MamaLantiis .
