Nicolas [never "Nick" - that was his names as a child] is easygoing and loves all kinds of animals [except cats]. He has an irrational fear of cats - won't go near them, won't pet them, and definitely will not handle them [even at work - tho he is never mean to them but will run away from every encounter]. He is into species preservation, safe removal of invasive species, and is an avid keeper and lover of snakes and spiders. He volunteers for local groups that help clean up the environment, keeps a small garden in his loft apartment, and he is a staunch vegetarian [tho he never presses the issue but he will not eat meat].

To afford his loft apartment and everything that comes with being an adult in this world, he works as the assistant manager at a local exotic pet store and breeds his spiders to sell their babies at home. At work, he is basically over all things including paperwork, and he spends a great deal of time hovering over his prized snakes and spiders at home [3 snakes and countless little jumping spiders plus 2 tarantulas].

When not working and caring for his personal exotic hoard, he is volunteering his time with local agencies, swimming, practicing taekwondo, or just hanging out with his friends and/or family. He has a younger sister that likewise loves exotic pets and has some of her own that she gets advice from Nicolas on from time to time. Both of his parents are alive and well too, but they do not share their children's love of "creepy-crawlies." Him and his friends like to go surfing and swimming in the ocean [which they are near], eat out at local food trucks, walk the local boardwalk and gossip about people they know, or chill indoors and play card games. As a friend, Nicolas can often be the "funny guy" but is usually the quiet contemplative one. He never offers advice unless asked, but if you ask, he is very forceful about it. As a lover [something he lacks currently], he is a little on the needy side and likes to have reassurance that he is wanted and loved. He can take the lead at any time but usually prefers to just match the energy and desires of his partner.

Henshin Description
Nicolas raises his left arm into the air and the snake bracelet springs to life, grown exponentially in size until it is able to twirl itself around Nicolas' body. It's scales slowly melt and form the bodice of his fuku and eventually rise up and into his hair, growing his hair out as the copper melts with him. As the final bits of the copper snake merge with Nicolas, a wave of watersnakes overtakes him from behind and when they clear, he is transformed and standing before you as Knight Hydrus.

Offensive Attack Description
Hydrus calls forth a giant water serpent that appears behind him and grows until it towers over him and then plummets forward at top speed and onto the creature[s] directed [can hit multiple creatures if they are close enough together] and creates a whirlpool around them doing continuous damage as long as Hydrus can concentrate and has line-of-sight.

Defensive Attack
Petrifying Gaze [no phrase]

Defensive Attack Description
Hydrus' slit pupil become circles, his copper eyes start to glow, and anyone or thing that meets his gaze is temporarily petrified into stone. The longer he matches his gaze without blinking, the longer the effect will last. For every 3 seconds, the offending creature will be petrified for 30 seconds.

Inherent Ability
Water Control

Inherent Ability Description
Nicolas has the limited ability to control water in both his forms. He is better at it and can do more as Hydrus, but as a civilian, he can do things like make a small pipe burst, arc a stream of water, change the flow of running water, hold back a small amount of water, or levitate a small amount of water. Mostly he can do these things with the force or amount of water you might get out of a kitchen or bathroom faucet. In places where the water is large, like when he is surfing, he can temporarily hold back the ocean current for 3-5 seconds to allow him a better opportunity to get back to the surface when he falls of his surfboard, but in large quantities of water, he can't do much as civilian.
