What are Tasks?
Tasks are story progressions or fun prompts that are open for group members to use to make art and accompanying text. There are some Tasks that depend on earlier prompts, others can be completed at any time. In order to participate in any  Tasks, the member must have a completed color reference in our reference folder. There may be a time limit for some Tasks, but most are open for members to complete when they like. Tasks should be submitted to the appropriate folders.

Power Brooch: Nicolas loves wearing bracelets, so he had his power brooch turned into a ouroboros [infinity snake eating itself] copper bracelet. He wears it on his left wrist.

Style: Nicolas doesn't have much of a "style." He loves prints and bright colors. Mostly, living by the ocean, he wears shorts and t-shirts. Most of his t-shirts have band names, random local establishments, or other prints on them. Even during the winter, you'll see him in shorts and t-shirts, but he will exchange his sandals for sneakers of some kind... Maybe he will wear a jacket if it is windy... Maybe.

Bio: Nicolas grew up in the same area where he lives now and was a patron as a child to the very exotic pet establishment he now manages. As a child, he was called "Nick" and has grown to hate being called that. He has one younger sister, Natalie, whom he gets along with as she is much like her brother. The two are like two peas-in-a-pod, pouring over exotic creature information and history, gabbing about their snakes and spiders, and surfing together. His parents, who he also gets along with pretty well, are alive and visit sometimes tho they do not like their children's love of snakes and spiders (Mom: Ariel; Dad: Tucker).

Nicolas now lives in a small loft apartment that he rents [pictured above] with his bedroom up a ladder on a platform, the livingroom and kitchen together, and a bathroom with shower in its own area under the bedroom platform. His home is littered with his love of snakes and spiders. His breeding jumping spiders are always on display on a small cabinet [shown], Sister the snake lives in the livingroom with Kate the snake... while Tenshi the naughty snake lives in the kitchen [shown]... His two tarantulas have their own enclosures in his bedroom area. He takes Sister [shown] out a lot as she is very docile and friendly, even towards Styx and Nyx [both shown] which he also likes to take out frequently.

When not loving on his pets or working at the exotic pet shop, Nicolas can be found volunteering for conservation efforts, swimming, surfing, or holed up in a library reading about his passions. He also likes to hang out with his friends, his sister, or just by himself watching the sun set with a good book.

Personality: Nicolas is very easygoing. He often appears lost in thought as he likes to sound eloquent and knowledgeable when he speaks, so he often overthinks what he will say in response to people... He doesn't get angry easily but he does distract easily. Is that a bird chirping over there? Well, Nicolas will be the first one to notice and want to know what kind it is, its preferred environment and food, and how it interacts with other species in the ecosystem... He is this way with pretty much everything... 

Friends: Nicolas actually has a lot of friends being so friendly and easygoing [too many to list really]. He meets lots of new people managing at the exotic pet store as well as surfing. Rarely does someone walk away from Nicolas a stranger let alone an enemy. His best friend is probably Kris who he has known for about 10 years now and is likewise easygoing and also a newly acquired lover of exotic pets [he's learning from Nicolas - it started as a very hard sell lol].

Reaction? When Nicolas learned of his powers, his gut reaction was to play with them as much as possible. It never crossed his mind that he or anyone else could be in danger, tho when he figured that out, he knew he would have to keep his new powers and identity as secret as much as possible... tho the temptation to mess with everyone with his innate ability is almost too strong to stand sometimes XD
